The genius behind Google’s web browser

Google’s JavaScript engine called V8 is well know and pretty cool. V8 compiles JavaScript code into chunks which can be re-used by different scripts and applications. This really speeds up execution of JavaScript from various websites. What’s astounding about this is that it’s built by one programmer (and his protege) from his farmhouse office in Denmark – an entire continent and ocean away from Google’s office in Mountain View.
