Vivek Wadhwa makes some very good points backed up by stats. Indians, Chinese and others immigrats contribute a lot to the innonvation of the tech industry. They file a lot of patents and start more than 50% of Silicon Valley’s startups. Startups are the ones that hire people, more startups == more jobs. But I fear that all of this is just going to fall on deaf ears.
Sometimes I feel Americans get quite xenophobic on such issues.
